Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a co-owner of The Couch and offer Fertility and Sex Therapy for Individuals and Couples in Texas. I am currently a PhD Candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas Woman's University where I am actively conducting research regarding sexual health, maternal mental health and estrangement dynamics. I also offer supervision for LPC Associates and am accepting new Associates currently.

As a therapist, I provide a compassionate space where curiosity, healing, and connection are valued and nurtured. I work with individuals as well as couples. I support people with sexual intimacy, whether that means unlearning shame, understanding what blocks pleasure, or rediscovering intimacy after life’s transitions. I believe that sexual well-being is rooted in safety, understanding, and permission to explore your whole self.
Clinically, I also support individuals in their reproductive journeys, supporting those navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and postpartum shifts. I am passionate about helping clients experiencing relational estrangement or boundary challenges.
