I work with teens (12+), millennials, and queer folks navigating childhood trauma, anxiety, low self-worth, and attachment wounds caused by fractured family relationships or painful breakups which often affect their sense of identity and connection with others.
As a Health At Every Size (HAES)-aligned therapist, I have a special focus on eating disorders, body image, and unhealthy relationships with movement, which are often shaped by diet culture and past trauma. I honor each person’s unique pace and healing process, offering a “meet you where you are at” approach to building a better relationship with food and your body.
In my sessions, I welcome tears, laughter, and those inevitable “I don’t know” moments, as we navigate together through the roadblocks of your past and present toward healing. I believe therapy can be both fun and challenging.I offer a calm, relational, and attachment-based approach, and I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which I thoughtfully integrate with talk therapy when appropriate and with my client’s consent.
