Monique Lee, MA, LCSW-S

I work with individuals who are looking for help navigating childhood trauma, relational challenges, and attachment wounds. I also specialize in working with HSPs (Highly Sensitive Persons) and Empaths. I’ve completed several types of trauma treatment training, with some of my favorites including psychodynamic, somatic therapy (working with the implicit memories and inner healing of the body), and internal family systems (IFS). I am also a certified psychedelic-assisted therapy provider and can currently work with clients who have a prescription for ketamine treatment.

I have a direct, yet relational, approach to therapy. I try to meet my clients where they are and allow them to lead the sessions, but I also don’t just sit in silence. I will ask plenty of questions to help find the missing puzzle pieces and challenge my clients to be the best version of themselves. Everyone will tell you my facial expressions say it all! I truly strive to offer a calm, comfortable, casual, and accepting space for all, and I am constantly both proud and humbled by the vulnerable work my clients allow me to be a part of.

I love offering clinical supervision to LMSWs seeking licensure. To watch a clinician grow, both professionally and personally, and to be able to walk alongside them through that journey is one of my favorite parts of my job. I use a psychodynamic approach with my supervisees and focus on the developmental model of supervision. We show up as humans first, clinicians second. Supervision can be offered in person or virtually and either individual or group. I'm able to offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for supervision as well. Please contact me for more info
