How do you find a therapist that you actually like… but really?!

First, look for a free consultation. This gives you an opportunity to meet them, ask questions & make sure it feels like a good fit. If you don’t vibe with the therapist then you won’t be able to dive in deeper to the work.

Does therapist specializes in your needs? When a therapist has niche they are clinically passionate about diving into current research on creative ways to help you get your needs met.

Third, ask questions. You are empowered as the help seeker to make sure you feel emotionally safe with this therapist. If the schedule, budget or vibe of the therapist doesn’t match your needs you can ask for other recommendations.

It’s brave to take the first step into exploring therapy & you deserve a therapeutic relationship that is healing.
